This type of juicer takes all the fruits and vegetables, chews them for you, spits out all the fibres and gives you all the good juices. The great advantage of this slow process is that the juice retains more of its vital nutrients. Less heat is added during the process, so that the juice oxidises less quickly. Reducing oxidation not only keeps more nutrients in the juice, but also gives it a better taste and texture.
Meat produced with a putty press is also dried, i.e. most of the juice is squeezed out of the pulp. Juice produced by chewing juicers can be cooled in hermetically sealed containers for 72 hours while preserving its quality. So you can take the time to eat enough with the juice for three days, which can be a huge time saver!
Cleaning. Let’s face it, almost every centrifuge that has small holes to squeeze out the juice hurts when you clean it. If you choose a putty extractor, you must choose a screw extractor. They have a larger hole at the bottom to squeeze out the juice, making them fairly easy to clean.
Chewers can be slightly more expensive than centrifuges. But, uh… …can you put a price on your health?

What you can and cannot juice
Juicers can squeeze almost anything. These machines are particularly suitable for extracting juice from green plants because they extract more juice than other types of juicers. So if you want to squeeze a lot of wheat or cabbage, the putty extractor will work perfectly, especially the twin screw extractor.
If you know how a centrifuge works, you probably already have a good idea of how this type of machine works.
With the help of a centrifuge, the fruit and vegetables are fed upwards and in a fast-rotating centrifuge with small holes are brought down by sabotage. Here the juice is squeezed on one side and the flesh on the other.
The purchase of such a centrifuge has several advantages.
Firstly, they are generally much more economical (in terms of price) than their chewing analogues. You can buy a pretty good quality centrifuge for less than $100.
It’s also great if you don’t have much time to stand all day and want your juice fast!
You need to drink this juice fast. Juice produced by centrifuges contains much more air and therefore oxidises faster. While the putty press rotates at 800-1000 rpm, the centrifugal press can rotate between 3000 and 22000 rpm. Moreover, the pulp produced is wetter, which means that you get less juice. However, you can always run the pulp through a nut milk bag or a similar device to extract more juice.
When it comes to cleaning, centrifuges can be a little easier to use than chewing machines. They usually have fewer cleaning parts, although the centrifugal part itself, with all its small holes, is difficult to clean. When using a juice extractor, make sure you have a good hard plastic brush to clean it.
What you can and cannot juice
The centrifuge is ideal for pressing hard fruit and vegetables (apples and carrots, I think). It is also excellent for juices with a high water content, such as watermelon and cucumber. However, they are not very good at pulling out the green leaves. To start with, these products do not contain much juice. If you plan to extract a lot of green vegetables, you should use putty centrifuges instead.
Juices are an excellent choice for a lifestyle that can bring many benefits, from increasing energy to cleansing the skin and improving digestion. However, the purchase of a juicer is an investment. Centrifuges are generally cheaper. So if you’re not sure if you want to make juice in the long run, this may be the right choice for you. However, if you want to include a lot of green juice in your diet, a chewing gum may be the best choice.
Before you make a final decision, you can consider these elements:
What’s your budget? What are your health goals? Are you more interested in quality or quantity? Are you planning on squeezing the juice for days? Does the car have a warranty? (If you buy a more expensive centrifuge, make sure it is included). And finally, is that juice extractor for anything other than making juice? For example, some chewers have different nozzles for the production of nut oil, ice cream or sorbets.
By taking these elements into account, you can make the most informed decision to choose the juice extractor that best suits your health and life goals.
