5 Best glass mixers – Reviews:
1. Braun JB7350 WHS Glass Blender – Best Total
The WHS Braun JB7350 gets good grades. It’s a simple blender, but if you just want to make cocktails or gazpacho or crush ice, this is the machine for you. Its 1,000-watt engine is fast and surprisingly quiet to get any job done. It offers you three settings – crush, smoothies and ice crush – and three speeds. The lid is fitted with a plug-in measuring cup, making it easy to pour extra liquid during use. The 7-head capacity allows for easy mixing and cleaning. Design lovers will appreciate its sleek and modern look – it’s the device people will focus on. If Braun’s goal was to build a simple, powerful and beautiful crane, then this model succeeded.
The advantages of
- Hurry, hurry, hurry.
- A large capacity can
- luxurious design
- Easy to clean.
2. Rear glass shredder
The Oster Reverse Crush BVCB07-Z00-NP0 took second place and received high marks for strength and durability. The multiple motors and bi-directional blades make it possible to quickly make ice cream and smoothies, and it is also programmable. Many users report that they simply replace the blades when they are worn out – Oster sells a good stock of spare parts for this machine – so you don’t have to feel guilty about filling landfills with worn mixers. For certain jobs, such as making milkshakes, you can even buy special knives separately, which not only extends the life of the normal knives, but also that of the whole machine. Unfortunately, this thing is super noisy and when not in use, the bank leans only on the base, creating an aura of instability and wobbling. All in all, he’s a powerful opponent.
The advantages of
- It’s an excellent blender.
- Double-acting slats
- It’ll take forever.
- Large number of spare parts available
- According to
- It’s just dangerous to leave the tap on the floor when not in use.
3. Hamilton Beach 54221 Glass mixer – best value
If you have your heart set on a glass blender, but don’t want to spend a lot of money, consider Hamilton Beach 54221. For part of the price of our Top Pick you get a 700 watt blender with a 40 pound box suitable for ice cream, cocktails or shakes. Do you sometimes need some help with mixing if you overflow it with frozen fruit or ice cream? Yeah, but you probably won’t mind working on that mixer for a few more seconds because you paid so little. Some users have trouble removing the lid, but this almost seems like a problem you want to have in your blender and you can be sure that your cocktail won’t get stuck to the ceiling. This car is a respectable dazzler for the price.
The advantages of
- Super available under .
- A 700-watt motor ensures a fair mix
- Easy fight with large frozen fruits.
- Lid can be difficult to remove
4. Oyster mixer BLSTMB-CBG-000
You’ll love Easter BLSTMG-CBG-000. It is equipped with a powerful motor, a smoothie cup and programmable settings. Users appreciate the extra wide bottom of the barrel and the two-way rotating blades, which further improves mixing capacity. But a cocktail cup has many design flaws that lead to a quick death, and if you are not extremely careful when mounting it after cleaning, you may have a leak. All dazzlers are noisy, but this model is particularly noisy, which further reduces its appeal. Most disturbing, however, are the reports that the knives break during use, leaving pieces of metal in your cocktail, which is a clear and serious threat to safety. It could have been a great mixer, but in the end it didn’t work.
The advantages of
- 900/1200 Watt motor and double-acting blades
- There’s a cocktail cup to go with it.
- Sheet breakage during use
- The embarrassing cup has many design flaws…

5. BL1110RG BL1110RGBL1110RG SCHWARZ+DECKER Crusher
Sometimes you get the value of your money. The only aspect of the Black + Decker FusionBlade BL1110RG that everyone really appreciated was its ease of cleaning. Its 550-watt, 12-speed engine seems to work, but it just can’t interfere, even if you give it more than enough time. This mixer is very cheap, but has the painful tendency to die after just a few applications. In the end you can only get a nice glass with 6 cups/48 inch, which would be nice if it wasn’t also a blender. For just a few dollars you are much better off with the above mentioned Hamilton Beach 54221.
- There’s a lot of lemons there.

Although most famous mixers today use plastic cups or jugs, you have your heart on the glass. You are not on your own, as shown by the many choices you still have under the glass mixers. If you only have a vague feeling that glass is better, you can be sure that there are real reasons to choose glass.
Health lovers stay as far away from plastic as possible, but even healthy people avoid putting hot liquids in plastic. Not only can the heat wash microscopic plastic particles from your food, but plastic mixers – especially the lower models – are more likely to burst due to the higher pressure exerted by the heated liquid. Caution is advised when handling hot food, but the glass mixer rarely breaks through the heat.
Although many people buy blenders for cocktails and frozen drinks, the recent trend to use bulletproof coffee means that people have to use blenders for hot drinks every morning. If that’s what you want from yours, then glass is definitely the answer.
They haven’t yet invented a plastic jar that looks better than the most common glass version. Glass stays clear while plastic gets scratched, especially if you use it to crush ice, and discolours if you use it for something as shiny as berries. The plastic container will look like it’s always been there for a few months. If it’s a device you want to miss, there’s no reason not to find one that’s at least as attractive as possible, and some of them immediately attract attention.
Plastic absorbs odors, and sometimes even the dishwasher can’t get rid of them. Glass doesn’t have that problem. Maybe you don’t want yesterday’s gazpacho to taste like the underground part of a morning banana cocktail. What if you decide to compost?
Prices and performance
You don’t pay more or less for the glass and the performance of your blender depends on other factors, so you won’t gain or lose anything by choosing the glass.
The glass jug has paddles at the bottom and if it works efficiently, it creates a vortex that allows all the ingredients to circulate to ensure complete mixing. The plastic box mixer can have the same design or it can have a central bar with knives of different heights, not just on the bottom. Neither design is by definition better suited for mixing, so any glass jar can mix just as well as any plastic can.
There are a few more questions you would like to have answered for each glass mixer:
How’s it going?
You’re not saying it’s fake for nothing! There’s no reason to settle for a blender that’s not a workhorse. As a minimum, your blender should be able to mix cocktails, chop ice cream and mash the soup. Your cocktails and soups should be lumpy (if you don’t like them very much), and your ice cream should be ready to fulfill its destination in margaritas. There is no need to stop and stir them with a large spoon, put the ingredients in a precise pulse pattern, or wait 15 minutes until the frozen strawberries are half thawed.
How long does it take?
If you’re used to getting your hands literally dirty every time you use a blender, if you’re used to getting your hands dirty and if you’re doing a 17 step plan to go from frozen fruit to a finished cocktail, you’ll be happy to know that a blended or frozen drink should be ready in less than five minutes or even faster. This increased speed means you have fewer excuses not to have to serve fruit and vegetables every day.
What is the power?
Mixing efficiency and speed are very closely linked to the performance of the motor. The power of the mixer motors is usually expressed in watts, and more watts usually means more Gung-Ho mixers. What about descriptions that give you two powers? Higher number – maximum mixing capacity – when the machine is switched on for the first time or when the leaf hits a particularly strong fruit, the maximum capacity is switched on. But the peak power lasts only one or two seconds, so the smaller number more realistically represents the normal watts behind the engine. Make sure you compare apples to apples – constant watts and constant watts instead of continuous peak power. (If you see mixers whose power is described in horsepower, so you can’t compare mixer motors, remember that the internet likes to convert horsepower into watts for you).
Is it difficult to clean?
Many glass container mixers are easy to clean. Some people put the whole jug, including the bottom screw and knives, upside down in the dishwasher. Others remove the bottom part and wash it by hand, while a single glass container is placed in the dishwasher. Others put a drop of detergent and a little water in the blender and then mix it with clean water. You must treat the slides with care, but otherwise cleaning the glass jar is simple and easy.
There is no reason why your glass mixer cannot be programmed. Place the ingredients as described in the manual, choose the correct setting, make sure the lid is on and let it rest. When you come back, the blender is off and all you have to do is pour.
How big is it?
The capacity of our glasses ranges from seven cups/56 ounces to five cups/40 ounces, but the capacity has little to do with performance; our first choice is the largest, so a large glass is not synonymous with a less efficient mix. If you’re feeding the crowd, be sure to look for a powerful blender.
Another aspect of size to think about is height. You want it to go under the top cabinets while the can is on the floor? I don’t think that’s gonna happen. Make sure you measure the vertical space and compare it with the measurements of the instrument.
Can you fix it?
There are a lot of moving parts in the blender, and if one breaks, you probably won’t mix anything. We may live in unique times, but wouldn’t it be great if it could be kept for years instead of months? Many mixer manufacturers offer spare parts for sale. So if you drop a can on a tiled floor, if your baby covers the lid, or if the joint starts to deteriorate, you can only spend a few dollars and buy a new piece. There is even a blender manufacturer on this list that sells interchangeable blades, so you can keep your blender in perfect condition indefinitely.
The Braun JB7350 WHS distinguishes itself by one thing: it is an impressive mixer for glass containers. This is an excellent example of the importance of the right tools to work well. As a bonus, you’ll want to see it on the counter.
For this price, you won’t find another fake forgery beating Hamilton Beach 54221. It is compact, light and easy to mix. If you’re just starting out and you have a budget, this is a good mix to start with.
Maybe you decided to use a glass blender for health reasons, or maybe it reminds you of your grandmother, or maybe you recently switched to bulletproof coffee. Whatever the reason, make sure there’s a blender that’s right for you. We hope these checks will help you find him.
