Quick comparison of our favorites for 2020:

10 Best blender up to $100 –

1. Ninja BL610 Mixer – best overall score

NINJA BL610

Our best choice is the 72-ounce Ninja BL610 Professional Blender, a well-designed and affordable blender that’s powerful enough for tough mixing conditions. This model feels very strong and has a high efficiency.

With its impressive 72 oz. capacity and simple five-button interface, the seven-pound BL610 is easy to use and convenient in size. During the tests we discovered that the surprisingly quiet 1,000-watt motor and the robust six-bladed design crushed the ice well.

Despite the fact that the bottom seems very solid, the plastic container is less durable and can crack or split during prolonged use. Unfortunately, the one-year ninja guarantee does not apply to the applicant. We also found that the knives can be difficult to clean.

The advantages of

  • High capacity
  • A simple interface
  • Pretty light
  • At a reasonable price.
  • Quiet but powerful engine.
  • Stable base and sturdy hexagonal mounting
  • One year warranty
  • Contains a cookbook with 25 recipes

Disadvantages

  • The less robust plastic can not be covered by the warranty.
  • Knives can be difficult to clean

2. Hamilton Beach 58148A Blender – Best value

HAMILTON BEACH 58148A

If you are looking for a model that will save you money, the Hamilton Beach Power Elite Blender 58148A may be your choice. This lightweight model is less powerful and slightly more complex to use, but offers many possibilities at an impressive price.

The Power Elite weighs just 5.62 pounds and features a small but sturdy 40 oz. glass jar and a patented Wave Action design that allows the ingredients to sink into the blades. The five-button interface offers 12 functions, so you may need to spend some time reading the manual. The tin, the knives and the lid can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher, although we have noticed that food often gets stuck under the knives, which makes cleaning difficult.

The 700-watt motor is not as powerful as some models, but it works well in most cases. Our least popular feature was the basic plastic collar, which is not very durable and can easily tear. Hamilton Beach offers a generous three-year guarantee, but you will have to pay for shipping.

The advantages of

  • Low costs
  • Light
  • Robust glass container
  • 12 functions with patented mixing design
  • Dishwasher knives, lid and canister
  • a generous three-year guarantee

Disadvantages

  • A more complex interface
  • Less capacity
  • Less powerful motor
  • Less robust plastic collar
  • Must pay for warranty service

3. Ninja mixing desk worktop BL660

NINJA BL660

Our other best choice is the BL660 Ninja counter mixer, a powerful and efficient model that is also perfect for single servings.

With a large 72 ounce plastic jug and two 16 ounce travel covers, the BL660 can be mixed up for a party or just for you. It has five simple buttons and a powerful 1100-watt motor, as well as a special service sheet for mixing travel cups. The plastic is dishwasher safe and contains no BPA.

This lightweight 2.5 kg machine has several drawbacks, including less durable rubber parts on the buckets, a lid that tends to leak and a bottom that can crack. It’s also a very noisy car. Fortunately, Ninja offers a one-year warranty and spare parts.

The advantages of

  • Unique service function with special knife block
  • Contains a large jug and two road cups.
  • Powerful motor and simple interface
  • The dishwasher is safe and contains no BPA.
  • One year warranty and spare parts in stock
  • At a reasonable price.

Disadvantages

  • Rubber, lid and foot less robust
  • Very strong.
  • Plastic jug

4. Fast food grade food mixer 12-component mixer

NutriBall NBR-1201

The attractively priced 12-component rapid mixing/grinding system of the NutriBullet NBR-1201 can also be a good addition, although it has a lower capacity and is less durable. Designed to destroy seeds and skin, this blender offers potentially higher levels of nutrients.

This well designed Silver Bullet mixer is equipped with a less powerful 600 Watt motor, extractor hood and sharpening knives. The delivery volume includes 18- and 24-well BPA-free mixing cups, as well as patented resealable lids and a recipe book.

With a weight of 7.05 pounds this machine is heavy enough for a bale mixer. During testing, we discovered that the O-ring easily breaks and leaks. The maximum capacity you can mix is 24 ounces, which may not be enough if you want to mix large quantities. NutriBullet offers one year warranty as standard.

The advantages of

  • Attractive design and price
  • And the vacuum and the sharpening knives.
  • Includes a BFA-free mixing cup with lid.
  • Potentially higher nutrient content
  • One year warranty

Disadvantages

  • Heavy for a ball mixer.
  • Less powerful motor
  • Less capacity
  • A less robust O-ring

5. Ninja Blender BL480 Nutrient Rich Ninja Blender

BL480 Ninja

The BL480 Nutri Ninja Blender is very suitable for single use and has a number of features. Unfortunately, it is also rather clumsy and not very durable.

This lightweight 5.5 lb. machine is equipped with a powerful 1,000 Watt motor and is equipped with 24- and 18-hole displacement cups with lockable lids. The interface is a bit cumbersome and complicated to use, but the device offers a number of pre-installed and manual options, including a timer that allows countdown or countdown when needed.

During the tests it was found that the caps do not close properly and that the machine as a whole appears to be less robust. It’s also a very noisy mixer, so it might not be the best option if you’re sensitive to noise. Small force means it doesn’t work well with large quantities. The ninja is guaranteed for one year.

The advantages of

  • Very suitable for disposable mixtures
  • Light
  • At a reasonable price.
  • A powerful engine
  • Numerous functions, including presets and timers
  • One year warranty

Disadvantages

  • Less capacity
  • Very strong.
  • Less robust construction
  • Lids can leak.

6. Kitchen accessories KSB1570SL 5-speed mixer

Kitchen aid KSB1570SL

The KSB1570SL 5-speed mixer from KitchenAid is well priced for the number of features it offers, although it has a lower capacity and is not very durable.

This heavy duty 10-pound model has a cast metal base and is available in several attractive colours. The simple, user-friendly and well thought-out interface offers a choice of five speeds. The motor is programmed to automatically detect the load and adjust the parameters for optimal mixing. We also liked the Soft Start function, which allows for smoother mixing without having to check the mixer. The 56-inch pitcher is made of BPA-free plastic and has a 2-inch cap for easy addition of ingredients during mixing.

We have established that this model is not as robust as we would like it to be. The plastic jar can leak, the blades clamp quite easily, and we found reports of rusted screws. KitchenAid offers a warranty of one year.

The advantages of

  • Solid metal injection moulding base
  • Attractive design and simple interface
  • Automatic setting and Soft start function
  • BPA-free plastic jar with lid for ingredients
  • A good price
  • One year warranty

Disadvantages

  • Heavy
  • Less robust plastic jars and trays
  • Reports on rusted screws
  • Less throwing force

7. Oyster Mixer 1200 Pro

Oyster Mixer Pro 1200

The Oster 1200 Pro mixer with its food processing attachment is very suitable for mixing and processing food and is available at a reasonable price. The back? It’s not the strongest model we’ve considered and it’s not very well designed.

This heavy 13.45 lb. mixer is equipped with a powerful 1200 Watt motor and a bi-directional stainless steel blade unit. Although the interface is somewhat complex to use, it offers a choice of seven speeds and a number of presets. The package includes a five-head food bowl and a six-head glass jug, as well as a 24-inch travel cup.

During the tests we discovered that the mixer can leak if used intensively. Although the jug itself is solid, the machine as a whole does not look very solid and it is difficult to find spare parts. Oster offers an impressive 10-year warranty on metal actuators and a regular three-year warranty.

The advantages of

  • Seven speeds and different presets
  • Double-sided stainless steel blade mounting
  • Powerful 1200 Watt motor
  • Includes large glass for food processing and mixing
  • At a reasonable price.
  • Long warranty of 10 years on the metal disc and three years regular warranty.

Disadvantages

  • Advanced interface
  • Heavy
  • Not very sustainable.
  • Parts are hard to find

8. BPA-free CPB-300 BlenderKitchen Mixer

Cushion type CPB-300

Another option is the Cuisinart CPB-300 350W BPA-free mixer, a compact, easy-to-use mixer sold at a very low price.

This small four-book model has a sleek, attractive design and a simple three-button interface. The engine has less power, only 350 W, but the mixer has a stand-by and automatic stop function and comes with two interchangeable blade blocks. The package consists of a 32-ounce mixing cup, an 8-ounce cutting cup and two 16ounce BPA-free, dishwasher-safe plastic weighing cups.

During the tests we found that the engine is not powerful enough to mix ice cream or solid frozen fruit without problems. Although the plastic parts are kept in the dishwasher, they fog up, which is less attractive. A small capacity can be a problem if you need to mix large quantities. Cuisinart gives this car a good three-year warranty.

The advantages of

  • Low costs
  • Lightweight and compact
  • Attractive design and simple interface
  • Contains two sets of knives and different mixing vessels
  • Dishwasher safe, BPA-free.
  • Three year warranty

Disadvantages

  • Less powerful motor
  • Plastic parts in the dishwasher get confused
  • Less capacity

9. Addwin mixer work plan

Addwin

The Addwin tabletop mixer has a very powerful engine and high mixing power, but is heavier and less durable than many other models we have tested.

This machine adapts well to the ice, with an impressive 2,200 watt motor running at 45,000 rpm. The plastic jug has a good capacity of 70 ounces and a sturdy rubber lid. We found the interface knob and the dial unattractive but functional, and the mixer weighs 8.65 pounds.

Despite the fact that the container is made of unbreakable tritanium, we have found several reports of cracks in the container, and the leaf may rust over time. This mixer is also quite noisy, so it might not be suitable for you if you prefer a quieter car. Addwin offers a basic one-year warranty.

The advantages of

  • A powerful engine
  • Powerful jug with sturdy lid
  • At a reasonable price.
  • One year warranty

Disadvantages

  • Heavy
  • Very strong.
  • Attractive interface
  • Less robust plastic cups and rusty blades

10. BLACK+COVERT BL1210BG Mixer

BLACK TABLE BL1210BG

Our most unpopular model is the BLACK+DECKER BL1210BG, a fairly heavy and not very powerful crane with a simple design.

Despite the attractive price, this blender weighs 8.2 pounds, which is partly due to the fact that the hexagon is made of strong glass. The 700-watt motor is not powerful enough to mix ice cream or frozen foods without difficulty, and tests have shown that it can start smoking when used intensively.

The BL1210BG is equipped with a four-point stainless steel blade and comfortable rubber non-slip feet. The tin, top and lid can be cleaned in the dishwasher. BLACK+DECKER offers a good two-year warranty.

The advantages of

  • Very low price
  • A robust and powerful glass jug.
  • Dishwasher safe box, knife and lid.
  • Stainless steel blade
  • A good two year warranty

Disadvantages

  • Strong enough.
  • A less powerful engine that can smoke
  • Basic construction

Purchasing guide

You’ve seen our ranking of the Top 10 low-cost mixers of the year 2020. But how do you choose the best solution for your specific needs? We are here to help you with this guide with features you might want to follow.

Power

You want your blender crushed and ground properly. The first thing you want to investigate is the engine performance of your model. If the power is too low, the engine may not be powerful enough to mix harder ingredients such as ice cream or frozen fruit. More than 1000 watts should be enough for most mixers, but if you want a really powerful machine, you can buy a model of about 2000 watts.

Knives

The set of knives is the part of your blender that performs all shredding, shredding and crushing operations. To ensure that your new mixer works properly, you should pay attention to the quality and material of the blades. Robust knives are usually made of stainless steel with four to six sharpened points. Some mixers come with multiple knife blocks, which can be useful if you use your mixer for different tasks.

In order for the mixer to function properly, it may be necessary to replace the blades at some point. If you intend to use the mixing bowl intensively, check whether the manufacturer offers replacement blades.

Price

Don’t worry, there are many great models in the range up to $100. But are you willing to spend that $100, or do you prefer the cheapest model? Before you go shopping, you can decide how much you want to spend on a new mixer.

Capacity

Do you normally mix large quantities or individual portions? If you need a blender for a party or to prepare a large number of dishes, you may need a jug with a capacity of at least 50 ounces. Remember that the maximum capacity of the liquid is usually less than the full capacity of the jug.

If you prefer to mix simple cocktails or small amounts of sauce or soup, you may prefer the compact, lightweight ball mixer. These machines usually come with street cups in which you can mix or shake a cocktail so you don’t have to clean multiple containers. Maybe you’d like a smaller room that fits in the smaller kitchen.

Equipment jar

Mixed glass is normally made of glass or plastic. Glass containers are more attractive and stronger, but also heavier and can be more expensive. Plastic jugs, on the other hand, are light and economical, but are more likely to crack, stain or fade. If you want the strongest plastic jar, you can look for the tritan jar, the hard, impact-resistant plastic. If you are worried about chemicals, you can also make sure that the plastic does not contain BPA.

Warranty

If something goes wrong, do you want your investment to be protected by a good guarantee? Manufacturers offer a range of warranties for a standard year or up to 10 or 15 years. You can also check the warranty information for your model, as some only cover engine costs or shipping or replacement costs.

Conclusion

Our favorite blender is the Ninja BL610 Professional 72-Ounce Countertop Blender, a powerful, affordable and pleasantly performing blender. If your budget is tighter, you may be interested in the Hamilton Beach Power Elite 58148A, a compact, lightweight model that offers plenty of power for most mixes.

Dazzlers are useful, multifunctional, but with so many models on the market it can be difficult to find one that won’t break the bank. We hope this list of the top 10 mixers for $100, with a detailed overview and a short buyer’s guide, will help you find a good mixer that fits your budget.
